Tommy Dale Coleman

Tommy Dale Coleman, aged 76, passed away at his residence in Noxubee County, MS on May 30, 2024. No funeral service was held and private interment was in Butler Cemetery near Shuqualak, all per Mr. Coleman’s written wishes. Cockrell Funeral Home of Macon is honored to have handled the arrangements.

Tommy Dale Coleman was born on March 3,1948 to the late Thomas Cleveland Coleman and Nellie Mae Vernon Coleman in Gholson, MS. He graduated from Noxubee County High School and attended East Mississippi Junior College in Scooba. Tommy Dale began his working career at a local brick plant and went on to work at brick plants across the United States, doing so until his retirement. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, building things and, in his spare time, working on any type of vehicle or other motorized equipment.

Tommy Dale Coleman is survived by his son: Chris Coleman his daughter: Laycee C Higginbotham (Jason); and by his brother: C. Douglas Coleman (Diane). He is also survived by two granddaughters and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and by two brothers: Jimmy Russell Coleman and Randy Coleman and wife: Barbara Jean Hailey Coleman.
