Samuel Thomas Eaves

Samuel Thomas (Sam) Eaves, 31, of Louisville, MS passed away at his home Monday, December 30, 2019.   A funeral service is planned for Sunday, January 12, 2020 at 2 p.m. at Butler Pentecostal Church in Shuqualak, MS.  Interment will follow in Butler Cemetery.  A visitation will be held at Cockrell Funeral Home Saturday, January 11, 2020 from 6-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place,  Memphis, TN  38105. Cockrell Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with arrangements.

Samuel Thomas Eaves was born on August 18, 1988 to Kenneth and Toni Etzkorn Eaves in Meridian, MS.  He grew up in Triplett Town in the edge of Winston County, Mississippi. He was a graduate of Nanih Waiya School and he attended Mississippi State University.  He worked as a sheet metal foreman for Graham Roofing which he enjoyed doing. He liked to talk about his work and the different jobs he was working on.  He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends around a campfire and also his time spent on the river and at the creek.

Sam is survived by his parents: Ken and Toni Eaves of Macon, MS; son: Liam Thomas Eaves of Louisville, MS; brother: Tyler Eaves of Macon, MS;  his grandmother: Faye Eaves of  Shuqualak,  MS and two nieces: Zola and Annie Eaves.
