Peggy Eleanor Wilkins was born on May 8, 1949 in Macon, MS to the late Tellie Wilkins and Ouida Walker Wilkins. She graduated Noxubee County High School in 1967 and was a graduate of Colvin’s Academy of Cosmetology in Columbus, MS. She met her lifelong love and soulmate, Bobby Mann, when they were in the same Driver’s Education class in high school. They discovered a shared love of horseback riding and enjoyed riding Bobby’s father’s horses together. They married right after high school and shared fifty-four years of matrimony. Peggy staunchly supported her husband through his military, police, and musical careers. She was a cosmetologist in Macon at Beauty Chateau for several years and later in Tennessee where she used her beautician skills as a ministry to nursing home residents and shut-ins. Peggy went back to school in Tennessee and earned her Realtor’s License. She sold real estate for Century 21 in the Nashville, TN area for several years. Peggy loved being outdoors and gardening, especially flower and vegetable gardening, and in the fall, spent as much time as possible outside walking in area parks. Peggy loved her God, loved being with her family (especially her grandchildren), her dogs, and watching NFL football with her husband. She pulled for the University of Alabama each sports season. She was an excellent cook and really enjoyed cooking for the holiday seasons.

Peggy Mann is survived by her husband: Bobby Mann, her three daughters: Mitzi Case (Robert), Misha Mann, and Macy Winkler (Rhett). She is also survived by her brother: Teddy Davis (Kathy) and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, mother, step-father, and her sister Tillie.
