Mrs. Patricia “ Mollye” Crabtree Estes, 88, of Louisville, MS passed away Sunday, May 3, 3020 at Noxubee General Hospital in Macon, MS. A private graveside service was held Friday, May 8, 2020 at Salem Cemetery near Macon, MS. Memorials may be made to Salem Cemetery Fund, 23 Hunter St., Macon, MS 39341 or Noxubee County Nursing Home Activities Fund, P.O. Box 480, Macon, MS 39341. Cockrell Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with arrangements.
Patricia Mollye Crabtree Estes was born on March 16, 1932 to the late Hilary Parks and Eva Lorene Brown Ming in Louisville, MS. She was a graduate of Bond School in Winston County, MS. Mollye was known as Nana to her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and others that she provided child care for during her life. She loved caring for children. For forty plus years, she was a desk clerk at the Village Inn in Louisville, MS. When her girls were small, she enjoyed making their clothes. She also enjoyed flowering gardening. Mrs. Estes is preceded in death by her parents, two sons: Teddy and Kenneth Crabtree; a sister, Ann Smith and a brother: Billy Ming.
Those left to mourn Mrs. Estes are her two daughters: Debbie Stapleton (Randy) of Macon, MS and Diane Tiffin of Macon, MS; a son: Rusty Crabtree (Kathy) of Van Cleave, MS; six grandchildren: Robby Stapleton, Jimbo Stapleton, Chris Coleman, Laycee Higginbotham, Caleb Crabtree and Julianna Murphy; and eight great-grandchildren: Brad Stapleton, Ethan Gowan, Kaden Stapleton, Corbin Stapleton, Savannah Stapleton, Landon Stapleton, Jaycee Higginbotham and Kaylee Higginbotham and one great grandson.
