Mildred Moore Randall

Mrs. Mildred Moore Randall, 87, of Brooksville, MS passed away Monday, December 7, 2020 at Trinity Personal Care in Columbus, MS.  A graveside service was held Thursday, December 10, 2020 at Brooksville Cemetery with Pastor Kathy Brackett officiating.  Memorials may be made to Brooksville Cemetery Fund, 586 Hines Rd., Brooksville, MS  39739 or Methodist Senior Services, P.O. Box 1567, Tupelo, MS  38802.  Cockrell Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the service arrangements.

Mildred Moore Randall was born on May 27, 1933 in the Lynn Creek Community to the late Pickens Elijah and Jessie Brown Moore. Her parents died at an early age and Mildred moved to Brooksville and was raised by her aunt, Maggie Cade. Mildred was a graduate of Brooksville High School and on December 29, 1957, she married the love of her life, Neal Randall. Upon retiring from her nursing career at Brooksville Clinic after 42 years, she enjoyed quietly relaxing and flower gardening around her home. She was a longtime member of the Brooksville Cumberland Presbyterian Church.  In 2016, she moved to Trinity Personal Care in Columbus where she enjoyed her final years

Mildred is survived by her children: Sandra R. Miller (Joey) of Madison, MS, Bill Randall (Jami) of Brooksville, MS and Tom Randall (Marty) of Columbus, MS; a sister: Nita Gammill of Flowood, MS and four grandchildren: Laney and Zane Randall and Cade and Alex Randall.
