Mark Edward Hunter

Mark Edward Hunter, 51, formerly of Macon, MS, passed away at his residence in Mobile, AL on  Thursday, April 30, 2020.  A memorial service was held Saturday, May 9, 2020 at Cockrell Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Bill Ross and Bro. Steve Galloway officiating.  Memorials may be made to Canopy Children  Solutions (formerly MS Children Home), P.O. Mark was born on March 6, 1969 to Allen and Helen Hunter. He was a 1987 graduate of Central Academy. He served his nation honorably in the U.S. Marine Corps having fought in Desert Storm. He also served his community as a deputy sheriff and police officer. He always had a smile and was willing to help friends. He was of the Baptist faith. Mark is preceded in death by his father, Allen Adams Hunter and brother, Morris William Hunter.

Mark is survived by his daughters: Emily Williamson (Blake), Erin Copeland (Ethan), mother, Helen Hunter, and sister Marsha Hunter Walden (Clay), brother: Michael Allen Hunter and several nieces and nephews.
