Louise Stewart Edwards

Mrs. Louise Stewart Edwards, 90,  of Crawford, MS passed away Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at Noxubee County Nursing Home. A graveside service will be held Friday, May 4, 2018 at Bethesda Cemetery in Crawford, MS at 2 p.m. Memorials may be made to the donor’s favorite Charity. Cockrell Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with arrangements.

Louise Dawkins was born on December 5, 1927 to the late Vera and Vester Dawkins in Winston County, MS. She attended school in Artesia and Crawford. Louise worked at United Technologies for 35 years until she retired. She was a member of the Bethesda Baptist Church. She enjoyed the simple life. Her hobbies included gardening, cattle ranching, and cooking.  Mrs. Edwards was preceded in death by two husbands, Walter “Bubba” Stewart and T.A. Edwards; and two sisters, Lucille Dawkins and Olene Chain.

Louise is survived by her daughter: Betty Self of Crawford, MS.;  son, Walter Stewart of Starkville, MS.;

4 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 2 great- great grandchildren
