Linda Michelle Hargett

Linda Michelle Hargett,57, passed away at her residence in Macon, MS on March 23, 2023. She was born to James Clyde “Bud” Blaine and the late Linda Jeanette Thompson on January 25,1966 in Greenwood, MS. She was a graduate of the Ackerman High School Class of 1984. For the past ten years she had worked at Mississippi State University as an Admissions Coordinator. Linda was a God-fearing woman who studied her Bible daily and who had a heart for people. She was a faithful monthly contributor to St Jude and to several Christian organizations. She enjoyed antique shopping, crocheting, and spending time with her family. She was a dear friend to many throughout her life and was, in her daughter’s words, “The Best Mom Ever”!

Michelle Hargett is survived by her father: Bud Blaine of Greenville, MS; her daughter: Katie Eaves (Dylan); her sister: Sarah Woodward of Ackerman, MS and by one grandchild: Lawson Eaves. She was preceded in death by her mother and one brother: John Blaine.

Currently there are no services planned for Michelle Hargett. The family has requested that any memorials for Linda to please be sent to Ebenezer Pentecostal Church 2600 Hwy 397 Preston, MS 39354.
