Jose Francisco Lugo Callejas

Jose Francisco Lugo Callejas, 48, passed away on June 3, 2019 in a motor vehicle accident in Kemper County, MS.  A funeral service is planned for Thursday, June 6, 2019 at Cockrell Funeral Home in Macon, MS at 2:00 p.m.  Interment will be in Oddfellows Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the chapel from 1-2 p.m. prior to  the service. Cockrell Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.

Joe Francisco Lugo Callejas was born on October 6, 1970 to Andres Lugo Barron and Paula Callejas Trijeo in Camarones, Queretaro, Mexico where he attended school. He has lived in Noxubee County for the past twenty years. He married Amy Hathcock on February 17, 2003 and became a father on August 7, 2017. Francisco was known as a hard worker, loving husband  and father who would do anything for his family who he cared for very deeply. Francisco enjoyed playing soccer. His life was taken way too soon and he will be missed terribly. He is preceded in death by his father and three brothers: David, Guillermo and Luis Lugo.

Mr. Lugo is survived by his mother, Paula Callejas Trijeo; wife, Amy Lugo and son Jason Miguel Lugo of Macon, MS; sisters: Teresa, Lauretina, Antonia, Clementina and Catalina Lugo.
