Eloise Card Goss

Mrs. Eloise Goss, 92, of Macon, MS passed away on Tuesday, October 18,2022 at Noxubee County Nursing Home in Macon.  A funeral service is planned for Friday, October 21, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Cooksville Methodist Church near Macon, MS. with Rev. Glenn Miller officiating. A visitation will be held at the funeral home Thursday from 5-7 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Friday. Cockrell Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with arrangements.

Eloise Card was born on August 20, 1930 to the late William B and Eura Mae Smith Card in Macon, MS. She was a graduate of Macon High School and also attended Draughn’s Business College. She married Trenton Goss and became the bookkeeper for Circle M Ranch near Macon, a position she held until it’s closing. She attended Cooksville Methodist Church. She enjoyed fishing, crocheting, and reading. She loved to be together with her family at every opportunity.

Eloise Goss is survived by her daughters: Margaret Smith of Royston, GA and Linda Parish of Birmingham, AL and by her son: Carson Goss of Macon, MS. She is also survived by her two grandsons: Brian Smith and Shane Parish; one great-grandchild: Rylee Parish and by two sisters: Lois Moore of Huntsville, Al and Mary Kate Bell of Crystal Springs, MS and by two brothers: Delbert Card and Tommy Card, both of Macon. She leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, four brothers and one sister.
