Carrie Johnson Franks

Carrie Franks, 43 of Macon, MS passed unexpectedly on March 31 ^st 2023. A funeral service is planned for Tuesday, April 4, 2023 at Cooksville Methodist Church, 1500 Cooksville Rd., Macon, MS 39341 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Carrie was the loving daughter of Joe and Susan Johnson, Born in Blytheville, AR, into a military family. In 2001, Carrie married Jeff Franks and moved to New Orleans, LA before eventually settling in Macon. For 17 years she was employed at Shuqualak Lumber company, where she was known for her unique sense of humor and love of coworkers. Carrie left behind her grandmother, Carolyn Braswell, her parents, two daughters, Layla and Laurel, her brothers Todd (Lori) and Brian, and nieces and nephews. Carrie is preceded in death by her in laws, Ronald and Abbie Fraley Franks.
