Brennan Alex Guy

Brennan Alex Guy, 14, of Macon, MS went to be with his Lord on March 20, 2020 at UMC in Jackson, MS.  A funeral is planned for Sunday, March 22, 2020 at 2 p.m. at Macon Pentecostal Church in Macon, MS. Interment will follow in Salem Cemetery.  Visitation will be held at the church from 4-8 p.m. on Saturday and one hour before the service Sunday at the church.   Memorials may be made to Faith Christian Academy, P.O. Box 54, Macon, MS  39341. Cockrell Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with arrangements.

Brennan Alex Guy was born in Columbus, MS on January 11, 2006 to Brad and Amanda Pitre Guy. He was a life-long resident of Macon MS. He grew up going to Macon Pentecostal Church where his grandfather, Bro. Jimmy Guy, pastored. Being strong in his faith and loving the Lord, he looked forward to going the church and to church retreats. Brennan was a very outgoing person who had many friends, both inside and outside of the church family. He attended Faith Christian Academy in Macon where he excelled in academics. He was a very talented individual who played the mandolin and saxophone. Brennan was practicing to play the Star Spangled Banner on his mandolin for his school’s upcoming graduation. He was an avid hunter and fisherman who also enjoyed playing basketball and going to Trump rallies. Brennan loved to dress sharp and had a large collection of basketball shoes.  Brennan is preceded in death by great grandparents: Ira Guy, Paul Kemp and Leon and Doris Pitre.

Those left to mourn his passing are his parents: Brad and Amanda Guy, Macon, MS; brothers, Taylor and Spencer Guy of Macon, MS; paternal grandparents, Bro. Jimmy and Shelia Guy of Macon, MS; maternal grandparents: Kevin and Virginia Pitre of Macon, MS; paternal great grandmothers: Ella Guy and Glenda Kemp; maternal great grandparents: Norbert and Hazel Prince; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
