Bradley Lamar Lackey

Bradley Lamar “Brad” Lackey, 30, passed away at his residence on September 27, 2021. Born on May 2, 1991, he was the son of Rodney C. Lackey and the late Wanda Williams Lackey. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at 1:00 P.M at Soule Chapel Cemetery (1035 Soule Chapel Rd Macon, MS 39341). Cockrell Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the service arrangements.

Brad Lackey was born in Starkville, MS but grew up in Macon, MS. He attended Central Academy where he was known for his sense of humor and for being the class jester. All of his classmates had their own "Lackey" stories from their school days. He had a loving personality and dearly loved his children and his nieces. Brad had worked as a laborer and on construction jobs as well. Brad had a special way with people and could make you laugh even though you were angry with him.

Brad Lackey is survived by a daughter: Alexis Lackey and a son: Marshall Lamar Lackey, both of Preston, MS. He also leaves behind his big brother: Chris Lackey of Columbus, MS.
