April Marie Fulton Tucker, 39, of Meridian, MS., passed away on December 22, 2020 at her residence.
A private graveside service was held January 1, 2021 at Brooksville, Cemetery in Brooksville, MS with Bro. Trevor Gore officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Brooksville Cemetery Fund, c/o Melanie Hines, 586 Hines Rd, Brooksville, MS 39739 or Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church, c/o Mrs. Becky Holmes,330 A Jeffery Acres Rd, Meridian, MS 39301. Cockrell Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with arrangements. Pallbearers were David Bonner, Brett Bonner, Cody Bonner, Hayden Bonner, Troy Dukes, and Chuck Brown. Honorary pallbearer was Walter Hines.
April was born on July 6, 1981 in Columbus, MS to Robert Fulton and the late Beverly Fulton who passed away the same day at their residence. She attended Central Academy and was a graduate of Starkville Academy. April was also a graduate of Meridian Community College. She was employed with IQOR.
April was loved by many and always greeted everyone with a huge smile and a hug. She loved her family and was a devoted, loving mother to her son, Bryce Fisher Tucker, who also passed the same day as April at their residence.
April was a member of Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church in Meridian, MS where she had taught Sunday School, Vacation Bible School and Kid’s Church on Wednesday nights. Before moving to Meridian, she was an active member of Brooksville Baptist Church.
April is survived by her father, Robert (Jan) Fulton of Macon, MS and special aunts and uncles, Jessie Bonner (Rusty) of Meridian, MS, and Mamie Brown (Charlie) of Starkville, MS.
April is preceded in death by her grandparents, Richard and Alwee Fulton and Clifford and Bernadette Spies, mother, Beverly Kaiser Fulton, and son Bryce Tucker.
