Alice Louise Skinner was born on August 6, 1955, to the late William Earl and Barbara Jean Prince Skinner. She was the twin sister to William (Bill) Prince Skinner. Pete was her nickname given to her by her brother at a young age. Pete grew up on a farm near Macon and lived there most of her life. She was a graduate of Central Academy and received her associate degree from Clark College. After college, she went to work at Macon Stockyard and then she worked at Catch Pen, a western clothing store. She later worked on the farm for her dad and brother, cooking meals for them and making sure there was plenty of sweet tea on hand for her hot and thirsty family. Pete moved to Shuqualak and began working at Prince Oil company as a bookkeeper and receptionist. After her mother passed away, Pete moved back to her home place in Macon, MS. Pete enjoyed crocheting and working in her yard. She had a great love for her dogs through the years. Pete is preceded in death by her parents.

Those surviving Pete are her brother Bill and wife Tracy Skinner of Macon, MS; her nephews, Will Skinner (Kelly) and Lee Skinner (Chelsie), who took great care of Pete and her needs. Also surviving Pete are her great nieces: Avery and Rylee Skinner and Brooke Skinner.
