Garrett Eugene Boykin

Mr. Garrett Eugene Boykin, 84, of Macon, MS passed away Saturday December 4 2010 at Anderson Hospital in Meridian,MS. Funeral services are planned for Monday at 10 a.m. at Calvary Baptist Church in Macon, Ms. There will not be a public visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children, Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.

Mr. Boykin was a native of Macon, MS. He was a graduate of Brooksville High School. After graduation, he entered the Army/Air Force where he served his country proudly during World War II. After his military duty overseas he was stationed at Brinkley Field in Mobile, Ala where he started his family and career. Mr. Boykin eventually retired to Macon where his heart was all along. He attended Calvary Baptist Church in Macon, MS.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Audrey Darlene Boykin.
