Gladys (Koehn) Koehn was born on July 23, 1930 to Pete and Mary Koehn at Montezuma, Kansas. She passed away unexpectedly at home on October 9, 2010 reaching the age of 80 years

Mother was baptized into the Church of God in Christ, Mennonite by Min. David J. Koehn at the age of 14, remaining faithful to her vows until the Lord called her home. She enjoyed her Christian walk and her church family.

She married Floyd Koehn on June 3, 1951 by David J. Koehn. They enjoyed life together for almost 60 years. Their early married life was spent in Winton, CA and Montezuma, Kansas. After moving to Macon, MS in 1967, they invited three children, one by one, into the family circle. Mother loved her family and always had a concern for their spiritual welfare. She was a praying mother. The traumatic loss of daughter, Tona Kay, gave her a desire to join her in heaven. That desire has now been fulfilled..

She was especially given to tireless and unselfish service to others. She was a homemaker and a good cook, loving to have relatives and friends into her home. Her genuine interest in people and caring heart endeared her to many extended family members and friends, who will miss her deeply.

Those left to cherish precious memories include her loving husband, Floyd, her children, Janice and Timothy Moore, Baton Rouge, LA; Keith and Trisha, Montezuma, KS. Grandchildren: Jacqueline, Eric, Alyssa, Clayton, and Haley.
