Mrs. Betty Faye Sansing, 81, of Macon, Mississippi passed away at her residence in Macon on Monday, February 12, 2018. A funeral service is planned for Thursday, February 15, 2018 at 2:30 p.m. at Cockrell Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Bill Duncan officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Wednesday from 5-7 p.m. The interment will be PRIVATE and for the family only. The family requests no flowers, please. Betty Faye Anderson was born at Electric Mills, Mississippi on August 23, 1936 to the late Robert Lafayette Anderson Jr. and Elizabeth Ogden Anderson. She grew up in Shuqualak where she graduated from Shuqualak High School and then attended Mississippi State College for Women. On January 12, 1957 she married Charles Sansing. She was an active member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and the Noxubee County Historical Society. Mrs. Sansing was a member of First Baptist Church in Macon. She enjoyed traveling.
Mrs. Sansing is survived by her husband: Charles, of Macon; Two daughters: Debbie Sansing Denny of Jackson, MS and Rebecca Sansing Mathias of Macon and by one son: Dal Sansing of Macon. She also leaves behind six grandchildren as well as her sister: Mary Ellen Hambrick of Gulf Breeze, Florida and her brother: R.L. (Bob) Anderson III of Hammond, LA.
