Hester Nason

Hester Nason, 82, of Macon, MS passed away on Sunday, August 20, 2017 at Baptist Memorial Golden Triangle in Columbus, MS. A memorial service is planned for Saturday, August 26, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Dogwood Chapel, 200 5th St. NE, Aliceville, AL 35442. Bro. Glenn Miller and Bro. Barry Hathcock will be officiating. Cockrell Funeral Home in entrusted with arrangements.

Hester Nason was born in Ethel, MS on September 25, 1934 and he grew up in Drew, MS. He moved to Noxubee County in 1962 and worked as a farm manager.

He is survived by his wife of forty six years, Connie Nason of Macon; his mother-in-law, Marguerite Chappell; two special sons, Thomas Cade (Emily) and their children Mason and Logan; and Clint Cade (Kristel) and their children Jack and Sawyer; a brother, Sidney Nason; and a host of close family and friends.
