Nadine Resh

Mrs. Sandra Nadine Resh, 82, of Macon, MS passed away on Monday, June 19, 2017 at Noxubee General Hospital in Macon. Mrs. Resh was born in Sweet Water, Missouri to the late Herbert Paul and Jessie Pearl Randolph Clark on October 11, 1934. She moved to the Winnebago, Illinois area at a young age and graduated from Winnebago High School. She attended college for two years and then married Elmer Resh on June 18, 1954. The couple moved to Macon, MS in December 1966 where she and her husband were involved in farming for many years. In 1983 they began a trucking business, EN Trucking, which they operated until their retirement. Mrs. Resh was a book-keeper for most of her life. She was a member of Macon Presbyterian Church and was also very active in the community. She served as President of the Noxubee Co. chapter of the Mississippi Home Demonstration Club and was both state and local President of the Mississippi Home-maker Volunteers. Mrs. Resh was a member of the National Cake Decorating Club, the Master Sewing Club, and was also active as a 4-H leader and a Master for the Cub Scouts.
Mrs. Resh is survived by her husband: Elmer D. Resh, of Macon; 2 daughters: Lora Resh Anderson (John) of Albuquerque, NM and Bonnie Resh Peek of Brooksville, MS. and by one daughter-in-law: Aimee Gibson Resh of Preston, MS. She also leaves behind two sisters: Carol”Jeral” Blackborn of Tishomingo, OK and Polly Miller of Alaska. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren. Mrs. Resh was preceded in death by three sons: Elmer Duane Resh, Jr, James Randolph Resh, and Andrew Clark Resh and by one brother: Herbert Clark.

A Wake celebrating the life of Mrs. Nadine Resh will be held at Calvary Baptist Church fellowship hall on Sunday, July 16, 2017 from 2:00 until 4:00 P.M. with a time of sharing of memories to occur at 3:00 P.M. The family requests no flowers, please, but that memorials be made to Breastcancer.org 120 E. Lancaster Ave.
