Mrs. Bobbie Nell Pendergrass, 72, of Macon, MS passed away Friday,
April 28, 2017 at Noxubee General Hospital. Her funeral service will be held at Cockrell Funeral Home Chapel Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at 3:30 p.m. Interment will follow in Brooksville Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Cockrell Funeral Home (www.cockrellfuneralhome.com) of Macon is honored to be entrusted with the service arrangements.

Bobbie Nell Pannell was born in Blue Springs, MS on July 18, 1944 to the late Bedford Charlie Leon and Betsy Clytee Bell Pannell. As a young child, she moved with her family to the Brooksville area and attended the Brooksville Attendance Center. She married and reared a family and worked at Noxubee General Hospital as a Unit Secretary until she retired. She worked at the Elderly Care Center in Macon for a short time until retiring completely. Mrs. Pendergrass enjoyed reading, watching hummingbirds, and playing with her dogs. Mrs. Pendergrass was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Billie Eloise Pannell.

Mrs. Pendergrass is survived by two daughters: Debra Cotton of Macon, MS and Glynda Jamison of Brandon, MS; a son: Glenn Pendergrass of Fuquay Varina, NC., 2 brothers: Charles H Pannell of Macon and Ronald Wayne Pannell of Columbus, MS; six grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
