Rhonda Ledbetter Raab, 47, of Aberdeen, MS passed away on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at Baptist Memorial Golden Triangle Hospital. Her funeral services will be held from Calvary Baptist Church in Macon, MS on Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Bill Ross officiating. Interment will follow in Oddfellows Cemetery in Macon, MS. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon until 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday at the church. Memorials are requested to be made to the Bella Ray Educational Scholarship Fund % Cadence Bank, 803 Main Street, Columbus, MS 39701. Cockrell Funeral Home of Macon is entrusted with the services.
Rhonda Ledbetter Raab was born on August 26, 1969 to Jerry Glen and Cookie Durham Ledbetter, Sr. in West Point, MS. She was a graduate of Starkville High School and had lived in Cincinnati, Ohio for several years before moving back to Mississippi about five years ago. Rhonda was immensely talented and creative. She could take something that was seemingly nothing and make something beautiful and unique out of it. She loved to garden and enjoyed spending time in nature. Mrs. Raab was working in inside sales with Sqwincher in Columbus, MS. She was preceded in death by her grandparents: Parker and Irene Durham and Slim and Kate Ledbetter.
Rhonda Ledbetter Raab is survived by her daughter: Bella Ray Raab of Aberdeen, MS and her son: Parker Phillips of Columbus, MS. She is also survived by her mother: Cookie Bell (Reggie) of Brandon, MS and her father: Jerry Ledbetter, Sr. of Aberdeen, MS and by her sister: Jacque Kinard (Keith) of Maben, MS and by her brother: Glen Ledbetter of Columbus, MS.
