Garry Alan Ronyak, 54, of Macon, MS passed away on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at Anderson Regional Hospital in Meridian, MS. His funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Ellison Ridge Baptist Church near Louisville, MS. with Bro Mike Wells and Bro. Allen Eaves officiating. Interment will immediately follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church Monday, December 5, from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Memorials may be made to the Baptist Children’s Village, 1159 Pickett Rd, Louisville, MS 39339, on the check notate: Files/Greenwood Campus or Ramey Cottage, in memory of Garry Ronyak.

Garry Alan Ronyak was born on September 23, 1962 to Sandra Jean Mohs and Dennis Edward Ronyak in Ft. Benning, GA. He was a graduate of Judson High School in San Antonio, TX and moved to Macon about 25 years ago. He was married to the former Marjorie Kaye Higginbotham for 22 years. Garry worked for Johnson Pest Control for a couple of years as well as for Senter’s Hardware and Appliance. He also worked with the Mississippi Forestry Commission for a short time. He owned Garry Ronyak Construction for 34 years. He was a member of Ellison Ridge Baptist Church where he served as a Sunday school teacher and mentored young boys in the church and was also involved in mission work with the church. Garry was a volunteer fireman for the Mashulaville Fire Department and served on the Board of the Shuqualak-Butler Water Association. His hobbies included trout fishing and hunting with his family.

Those left to mourn Garry are his spouse: Margie Higginbotham Ronyak of Macon, Ms; his parents, Sandy Jaksha of San Antonio, TX and Dennis E. (Anne) Ronyak of Macon, MS; one son, Dennis A. Ronyak of Macon, MS; three sisters Denise Burke, Dawn Perkins (Ronnie) and Deana VaiVada (Brian), all of San Antonio, TX; his mother- and father-in-law: George and Nell Higginbotham; and his four nieces and two nephews.
