Mrs. Patricia Ann Robbins, 79, of Macon, MS passed away on Saturday, November 19, 2016 at Noxubee County Nursing Home in Macon. She was born on December 17, 1937 in Indiana to the late Mr. and Mrs. W.T. Ward. She was a graduate of Central High School in Indiana and later moved to Columbus, MS with her family. She worked in retail sales at Ruth’s Department Store for several years until marrying James K. Robbins in 1966. She then became a homemaker and also helped her husband in the Advertising Department at the Macon Beacon newspaper. Mrs. Robbins was a member of the Noxubee Garden Club and also of Independent Methodist Church in Macon. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren and also enjoyed sewing and gardening.

Mrs. Robbins was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and by one sister: Betty. She is survived by her daughter: Rebecca R. Sims of Macon and by two sons: Jeffery K. Robbins of Macon and James W. (Jim) Robbins and wife Michelle of Columbus, MS. She also leaves behind three grand-daughters: Samantha Taylor Sims, Kylie Garrett, and Kayla Barham.

A memorial service celebrating the life of Patricia Ann Robbins will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 22 at 2: 00 P.M. at Independent Methodist Church with Bro. Barry Hathcock officiating. Visitation will be at the church from 1:00 P.M. until service time. The family requests that memorials please be made to the Alzheimer’s Association P.O. Box 96011 Washington, D.C. 20090-6011.
