Brenda Ann Jackson

Mrs. Brenda Ann Jackson, 58, of Macon, MS passed away on Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at Baptist Memorial Golden Triangle Hospital in Columbus, MS. Her funeral service will be held at Cockrell Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, Nov. 5, at 2:00 P.M. with Bro. Ricky Jackson officiating. Interment will follow in Oddfellows Cemetery in Macon. Visitation will be held Friday evening from 6:30 until 8:30 P.M. at the funeral home. Cockrell Funeral Home of Macon, MS (www.cockrellfuneralhome.com) is entrusted with the service arrangements.

Brenda Ann Jackson was born on December 27, 1957 in Philadelphia, MS to the late David and Marlene Herrington Jones. She graduated from Philadelphia High School where she was majorette with the band. Mrs. Jackson moved to Pensacola, Florida where she worked in broadcast television at JCP Broadcasting for a number of years. She had lived in Macon for the past twenty-five years and was married to James Jackson on June 21, 2002. Mrs. Jackson was a homemaker and enjoyed animals.

Mrs. Jackson is survived by her husband: James Jackson of Macon; by one son: Allen Brown of Tampa, Fla and by one brother: Mike Jones of Vicksburg, MS
