Mrs. Tiffany Leigh McDavid, 37, of Starkville, MS passed away at her residence on Tuesday, April 19, 2016. Her funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 23, 2016 at 3:00 P.M. at Brooksville Baptist Church in Brooksville, MS. Visitation will be held at the church Saturday one hour before the service. Interment will follow the funeral in Brooksville Cemetery. Memorials are requested to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675. Tiffany Leigh McDavid was born in Honolulu, HI on May 5, 1978 to Virginia Gray Thornhill and the late Charles “Pete” Thornhill while her parents were serving in the military there. She was a graduate of Starkville High School and attended East Mississippi Community College. In May, 2006 she married Taylor McDavid who served his country in the United States Army. Tiffany loved animals and while they were stationed in Ft. Stewart, GA, she worked with the Humane Society. Then, while serving in Iraq, her husband , Taylor was killed in action in March, 2008.
Along with her husband she was predeceased by: her father: Charles “Pete” Thornhill; her maternal grandparents: Wallace and Mary Ann Gray and paternal grandparents: Jack and Janie Thornhill

Tiffany’s survivors include her parents: Ginger and Bill Arrington of Starkville, MS; two brothers: William Thornhill of Starkville and Jack Thornhill of Kentucky; her father- and mother -in-law: Robert and Jeane Alice McDavid of Starkville, MS; her aunt: Madelyn Gray of Memphis, TN; and her 2 uncles: Tommy and Michael Thornhill.
