Diane Janae Lee, 28, passed away on Thursday, January 14, 2016 at Baptist Memorial Hospital, Jackson, MS. Funeral service is planned for Monday, January 18, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Magnolia Mennonite Church, Macon, MS. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church Sunday from 2:30 p.m. until 4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Magnolia Christian School, c/o Joel Graber, 3027 Hwy 45 Alt, Brooksville, MS 39739. Cockrell Funeral Home of Macon is in charge of arrangements.

Diane Janae Lee was born March 31, 1987 in Jackson, MS to Jeff and Kathryn Lee of Macon, MS. Being born with Spina Bifida(open spine) and hydrocephalus (water head) made her totally dependent on others to push her chair and meet her basic needs. She reached out to others with her smile and words of cheer. She taught many by her example of patience. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Chester and Mary Ann Miller of Macon, MS.

She is survived by her parents, Jeff and Kathryn Miller Lee, two brothers; Dale Lee and Dalen Lee of Macon, MS; two sisters; Dorcas Funk, Chambersburg, PA, and Darlene Lee of Macon, MS; and paternal grandparents, Levi, and Elmina Lee of Macon, MS.
