Roland Timothy Bouchillon, 69, passed away at his residence in Bailey, MS on Saturday, November 14, 2015. His funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. from Soule Harbor Pentecostal Church in Shuqualak, MS. Bro. Gerald Butler will officiate at the service. Interment will follow at Shuqualak Cemetery with Bro. Ervin Jones officiating at graveside. Visitation will be held at the church on Tuesday from 1:00 P.M. until service time. The family requests memorials to be made to the American Cancer P.O. Box 224678 Oklahoma City, OK 73123. Roland Timothy Bouchillon was born in Macon, MS on March 21, 1946 to the late James Clifton and Annie Agnes Thomas Bouchillon. He grew up in Shuqualak, MS and attended Shuqualak Public School. He served one tour in Viet-Nam with the U.S. Army. After his military service ended, Mr. Bouchillon began his career as a truck driver and drove for various companies until his health failed. He was known to family and friends alike as one of the most honest people they had ever known. He was a kind man with a heart of gold who would give you the shirt off of his own back if you were in need. Mr. Bouchillon loved all children and treated his siblings’ children as his own. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Mr. Bouchillon was a person who loved and feared God and was a member of Shuqualak Baptist Church.
Roland Timothy Bouchillon is survived by his son: Tim Bouchillon of Union, MS; three sisters: Cecelia Floore of Shuqualak,MS, Joann Sciple of Meridian, MS and Mary Frances Brown of Bailey, MS and by one brother: James Bouchillon of Northport, AL. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters: Nan Neely and Betty Conner, and by one brother: David Bouchillon
