Miriam Lori Profitt

Miriam (Lori) Profitt, 57, passed away on Thursday, November 12, 2015 at Noxubee General Hospital in Macon, MS. There will be a time of visitation for friends Sunday, November 15, 2015 at Cockrell Funeral Home from 3-4 p.m. Memorials may be made to Breast Cancer Awareness, in memory of Nellie Hizer, 2600 Network Blvd., Suite 300, Frisco, TX 75034.

Lori was born on June 11, 1958 in Ft. Leonard Wood, Missouri to the late Howard H. and Margaret Nellie Todd Hizer. She attended schools in St. Cloud, Fla. She was a homemaker and was married to Neal Profitt for 27 years.. She enjoyed crafts and trips to the refuge to watch nature , but photography was her passion. She was always willing to help others even when not asked to do so and she always put her family first. She was a member of Brooksville Baptist Church.

Survivors include her spouse Neal Profitt of Brooksville, MS, Amber Willingham (Jason) of Caledonia, MS, 2 sisters, Barbara Perrigin (James) of Dixon, TN and Rebekah Hizer of Brooksville, MS; brother, Howard “Leroy” Hizer (Lynette)-St. Cloud, FL and three grandsons, Neal, Bret, and BradLee.
