Ethel Taylor Outz, 94, passed away on Tuesday; September 15, 2015, at Noxubee General Hospital.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday; September 19, 2015 at 2pm from Salem Memorial Church in Macon. There will be a visitation for one hour prior to the funeral service at the Church. Interment will follow at the Salem Cemetery.
Mrs. Outz was born April 18, 1921, to the Late George Walton and Kittie Mae Lindley Taylor. She attended The University of Southern Mississippi where she was a member of the basketball team. She graduated with a Degree in Business Education. Mrs. Outz was the Co-owner and served for over 48 years as the Accountant for Macon Auto Parts. She loved her family, a devoted wife and mother, she enjoyed the outdoors, horseback riding, gardening and flowers. She was a member of Salem Methodist Church.
Mrs. Outz is preceded in death by her parents, two sisters: Nannie George Robbins and Louise Freshour; and two brothers: Charles Walton Taylor and Ernest A. Taylor.
She is survived by her husband Arthur Rhee Outz; Daughter: Judith Outz Ewing (Randy); Sons: Kirk Outz and Wayne Outz (Kay); all of Macon. One Brother Robert L. Taylor of Macon. Four Grandsons: Brett Outz of Nashville, TN; Cody Outz of Brandon, MS; Dalton Outz of Clinton, MS and Ethan Ewing of Macon. She is also survived by a host of Nieces, Nephews and extended family.
