After spending nine months with us in the safety of his Mother’s womb, our precious little Rhett Watson Vernon was born directly into his Heavenly home at 7:04 P.M. on Tuesday, May 26, 2015. We, Nick and Emily Vernon, along with his sister, Hallie, and his brother, Ross, are each looking forward to the time when we are all reunited as a family together in Heaven. Then and only then will our circle be unbroken. As for the present, we are greatly comforted in knowing that our ” little man” is safe in the arms of Jesus.
Along with his parents and his siblings, little Rhett Watson left behind, with aching hearts, his maternal grandparents: Bill and Beverly Ross of Macon; paternal grandparents: Terry and Shirley Vernon of Louisville; maternal great-grandmother: Connie Ross of Lauderdale; and paternal great-grand mother: Olga Vernon of Brooksville and maternal great- great-grandparent , Anna Belle Holliman. Also left to mourn the home-going of their nephew and cousin are a host of loving uncles, aunts, and cousins.
Rhett Watson was preceded in death by his maternal great grand-parents: Tommy and Janet Guyton, Alice Skipper and Gene Ross and by his paternal great-grandparents: Sam Vernon and Earl and Ramona Hatcher and maternal great-great grandfather, Glenn Holliman.
The Funeral service for baby Rhett Watson Vernon will be held on Thursday, May 28, 2015 at Calvary Baptist Church at 11:00 a.m. with his grandfather Bro. Bill Ross officiating. Cockrell Funeral Home of Macon is entrusted with arrangements.
