Edward "Crow" S Guerry, Jr.

Mr. Edward S. Guerry, Jr., 63, passed away on Sunday, April 12, 2015 at Noxubee General Hospital after a brief illness. His funeral service will be held at Cockrell Funeral Home Chapel in Macon, MS at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, April 18, 2015 with Bro. Bill Ross officiating. There will be no visitation or graveside service. Memorials are requested to be made to the Edward Guerry, Jr. fund C/O Cockrell Funeral Home P.O. Mr. Guerry, who was known to friends and family alike as “Crow”, was born to the late Edward Sims, Sr. and Elizabeth Murphey Varner Guerry on October 29, 1951 in Starkville, MS. He was a Boy Scout where he was a member of The Order of the Arrow. He was a graduate of Noxubee County High School and attended East Mississippi Junior College where he played football. He was a truck driver for his entire life and had worked for numerous trucking companies over the course of his career. His favorite hobby was collecting. Crow was a well-liked person who would do anything for you and who would literally give you the shirt off of his own back.

Mr. Guerry is survived by two sisters: Peggy Guerry of Guntown, MS and Virginia Rampley of Niceville, Fla and by one brother: Mansel Guerry of Tallahassee, Fla. He is also survived by his much beloved nieces and nephews and by numerous cousins.
