Mrs. Patricia Cotton, 76, passed away on Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at her residence. A graveside service will be held Saturday, December 13, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Cotton Cemetery in Shuqualak, MS. with Rev. Jimmy Hunter officiating. Memorials may be made to Sweet Paws Rescue, P.O. Box 32, Macon, MS 39341. Cockrell Funeral Home of Macon is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Cotton was born on November 16, 1938 to the late Horace B and Gladys Louise Medford Willis in North Carolina. She lived in Michigan most of her life where she worked for the State of Michigan as a health care worker until she retired. She moved to Macon, MS in 2000 with her husband Calvin Cotton, who preceded her in death. She had a love for all animals. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Lisa Wells and a sister, Peggy King.

Her survivors include two sons: David Wells and Dan Wells (Kim) of Macon, MS; as well as two grandchildren: Linda Feldman and David Wells.
