Charles Alan Good

Charles Alan Good, 61, of Macon, MS. passed away at Oasis Health and Rehab in Yazoo City, MS on June 18, 2014. Graveside services were held Friday, June 20, 2014 in Oddfellows Cemetery. Mr. Good was born on June 29, 1952 in Valparaiso, Indiana to Verlin Paul Good and the late Grace Love Good. He was a graduate of Grove High School and attended Goshen College. He received an associate’s degree from Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN. He resided in Valparaiso, IN., Chicago, Ill., California and later in Macon, MS. He held numerous administrative positions in the transportation industry, NW Orient Airline, Amtrak and Greyhound. He worked for the Chicago Board of Trade and grocery businesses. He attended church regularly. He enjoyed traveling and gardening. He was preceded in death by his mother, Grace Love Good.

His survivors include his parents, Paul and Joyce Good of Macon, MS; sisters: Gail (Don) Atkinson of North Judson, IN. and Janice (Dale) Weaver of Macon, MS; and brothers: Steven (Grace) Good of Greenwood, MS and Philip (Janelle) Good of Macon, MS.
