Graveside services for Mrs. Lucile Boyd McGee, 100, of Macon, MS will be held Saturday, September 28, 2013 at Oddfellows Cemetery in Macon, MS at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will held at the funeral home from 9:45 until 10:45 a.m. Saturday. Mrs. McGee was born on September 3, 1913 in Porterville, MS to the late Claiborne Kinard and Mary Ovillo Bailey Boyd. She attended East Mississippi Community College. She retired from The Department of Human Services. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Macon, MS. She was a member of the DAR, Colonial Dames, UDC and the McCaskill Study Circle. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Ward McGee and 4 sisters and 4 brothers.
Survivors include her son, Thomas Harmon McGee of Macon, 2 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
