Mary Lynn Mckewen

MARY LYNN RICKETTS MCKEWEN, 94, of Macon, MS. died peacefully on August 21, 2013 in Macon, Mississippi. Mrs. McKewen was born on May 18, 1919 and was the eldest of the five children of Curtis Steele Ricketts, Sr. and Exie Parker Ricketts.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings; Geneva R. Hill, Dolores R. Hunter, Dean Ricketts and Curtis Steele Ricketts, Jr.



Mrs. McKewen is survived by her son R. Michael McKewen (Eliza) of Birmingham, Alabama; granddaughters Erin McKewen of Jackson, Mississippi and Augusta McKewen of Birmingham, Alabama.

During the last eight years of her life Mrs. McKewen was a resident of the Elderly Care Center in Macon where she was happy and lovingly cared for.

Private graveside services were held on Saturday, August 31, 2013 at Oddfellows Cemetery. Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church of Macon, Mississippi, PO Box 152, Macon, Mississippi 39341.
