Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah Ethridge Nelson, 74, of Macon, MS will be held Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Cockrell Funeral Home in Macon, MS. Interment will be in the Mashulaville Cemetery. Mrs. Nelson was born on April 22, 1939 to the late George C. and Dean Sennett Ethridge in Mashulaville, MS. She attended school in Kemper County and was a graduate of EMJC. She received her nursing degree from Meridian Community College. She retired from Noxubee County Nursing Home after 2o years of service. Mrs. Nelson was an active member of West Side Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry C. Nelson.

Mrs. Nelson is survived by her daughter: Diann Beard of Macon, Ms; three sons, Henry (Bubba) Nelson of Macon, Ms, John T. Nelson of Alpine, TX, and Michael Curry Nelson of Macon, MS; sister in law, June Ethridge of Omaha, NE; 1o grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
