Josey Boswell Campbell Shaul

September 20, 1926 — February 16, 2013

Mrs. Josey Campbell Shaul, 86, of Macon, MS passed away on Saturday, February 16, 2013 at Noxubee General Hospital in Macon. Her funeral service will be held on Monday, Feb. 18. at Cockrell Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 P.M. with Bro. Bill Duncan officiating. A private family graveside service will follow at Shuqualak Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home Monday from 12:30 until 2:00 P.M. The family requests No Flowers, Please. All memorials are requested to be made to Central Academy P.O. 231 Macon, MS 39341. Cockrell Funeral Home of Macon is entrusted with the arrangements.

Josey Campbell Shaul was born in Mashulaville, MS on September 20, 1926 to the late Joseph B. and Sinnie Hunter Boswell. She was a graduate of Macon High School and later worked at Merchants and Farmers Bank in Macon for over 22 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Macon. Mrs. Josey enjoyed being with her family and loved being with her grandchildren. She especially looked forward to the holidays when all of her family would be together. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and by her two husbands: Tom Campbell and Harold Shaul.

Mrs. Josey is survived by her two sons: Tommy Campbell (Pat) and Jimmy Campbell (Gayla), both of Macon as well as by two sisters: Linda Grantham of Hattiesburg, MS and Nina Allred of Richmond, TX and by one brother: James Hunter Boswell, also of Macon. She also leaves to mourn her passing her six grandchildren: Jimbo Campbell, Cari Campbell, Hunter Campbell, Cassie Campbell, Jarratt Baker and Clint Campbell and her seven great-grandchildren: Reagan Coleman, Lane Coleman, Ella Kathryn Campbell, Caroline Campbell, James Boswell Campbell, Jay Baker, and Miles Baker.

Mrs. Josey’s casket-bearers will be Jimbo Campbell, Hunter Campbell, Jarratt Baker, Clint Campbell, Tyler Hansen, Lee Lindley, Brad Lanier, and Jay Hunter.
