James Edward Kinard

James Edward Kinard, 62, of Brooksville, MS passed away on Thursday, Feb. 14, 2013 at OCH Regional Hospital in Starkville, MS. His funeral service will be held Saturday, Feb. 16, at 3:00 P.M. at graveside at Soule Chapel Cemetery near Macon, MS. Visitation will be at Cockrell Funeral Home in Macon from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M. Cockrell Funeral Home of Macon is entrusted with the arrangements.

James Edward Kinard, the son of the late Thomas Grover and Sadie Jolly Kinard, was a native and lifetime resident of Noxubee County, MS. He was a graduate of Brooksville High School and attended East Mississippi Junior College at Scooba, MS. He served with the U.S. Army National Guard. He was a carpenter by trade and was an avid hunter and fisherman. Mr. Kinard was preceded in death by his parents and also by two brothers.

Mr. Kinard is survived by one daughter: Vickie Hartzell of Greenville, Ohio as well as by one son: Jason Kinard of Philadelphia, MS. and three grandchildren. He is also survived by one sister: Sissy Lynam of Columbus, MS and three brothers: Jack Kinard, Curtis Kinard and Jerry Kinard, all of Brooksville, MS.
