Funeral services for Mr. Thomas “Stump” Foreman, 82, of Macon, Ms will be held Sunday, January 27, 2013 at Cockrell Funeral Home Chapel at 2 p.m. Interment will follow in Salem Cemetery. Visitation will be held Saturday, January 26, 2013 from 4:30 until 6:30 p.m. at Cockrell Funeral Home. Mr. Foreman was a native of Artesia, MS born on March 17, 1929 to William Presley and Lorean Elizabeth Wright Foreman. He attended school in Artesia. He served his country in the U.S. Army. He was married to the former Mary Farrar for 58 years. He moved his family to Macon and worked as a service manager for Murry Chevrolet. He later opened his own auto repair shop where he worked until his retirement. He attended Mashulaville Community Church. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. He always had a smile on his face and a story to tell. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Mary Acker and two brothers, Earl and Charles Foreman.
He is survived by his wife Mary Foreman of Macon, MS; 4 daughters: Donna Tribble of Jonesboro, ARK., Sharon Jenkins of Tupelo, MS, Janet Pate of Kingston Springs, TN, and Carol Ann Eaves of Louisville, MS; 2 sons: Tommy Foreman of Bartlett, TN and Ronnie Foreman of Macon, Ms; 3 sisters: Lorean Flippen of West Point, MS, Linda Callahan of Weir, MS, and Brenda Foreman of West Point, MS; 3 brothers: Luther Foreman of Columbus, MS, Buddy Foreman of Senatobia, Ms and Danny Foreman of Olathe, KS and 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
