Angelic from the start, Micah was the sunshine of his family’s lives. H e had beautiful eyes, a sweet smile and a way about him that won many hearts. Micah loved his grandfather Dale, his kitties, John Deere tractors, and his jeans and boots; his dream was to be a farmer. A special time in his life was enjoying harvest in Canada with Papa Byrnie and Uncle Weldon. Through Micah’s sickness, he never complained and bravely adapted as he continued to decline physically.

As a small child, Micah was “Daddy’s boy” and loved to spend time with him. He bonded in a special way with his mom through his time of sickness. Micah looked up to his 16 year old brother Zachary. His 13 year old sister Danielle filled a special place in caring for him.

Micah loved school and excelled in school work, even though he was not able to attend regularly. He and his 8 classmates shared a special friendship. Many times after church, they would be tailgating on his motorized chair. Micah touched many lives with is notes, colored pictures, and homemade crafts.

Although our home and hearts fell very empty, we believe Jesus has healed him and his dream to run again has come true.

Those left to anticipate a reunion in Heaven are his parents, Layne an Becky Giesbrecht, brother, Zachary and sister, Danielle; grandparents, Dale and Lorna Giesbrecht, Brooksville, MS, Byrnie and Bernice Isaac, Rosenort, Mantiboba; Great-grandparents Franklin and Florine Koehn, Geiger, AL, and several uncles and aunts.
