Steve Mack

Mr. Steve “Mack” Mack, 55, of Macon passed away Wednesday May 23, 2012 at his residence in Macon, Miss. There will not be any public service. Cockrell Funeral Home of Macon is in charge of arrangements. You may sign online guest book at www.cockrellfuneralhome.com.

Mr. Mack was born on November 30, 1956 to Mrs. Barbara Etta Strange Mack and the late Woodrow Wilson Mack in Missouri. He moved to Macon, Miss. as a child. He attended Macon Elementary School. He worked as a truck driver for most of his life. He enjoyed his family and especially his grandchildren. He attended West Side Baptist Church.

Mr. Mack was survived by his mother: Barbara Strange Mack of Macon, Miss.; a daughter: Elisa Burns of Columbus, Miss.; a son: Stephen Mack of Columbus, Miss.; four sisters: Cindy Whitehead of West Point, Miss., Terry Mack of Columbus, Miss., Sharon Haynes of Louisville, Miss., and Nancy Backfish of Scott City, Missouri ; three brothers: Billy Mack of Macon, Miss., Benny Berry of Poplar Bluff, MO., and Joe Flores of Louisville, Miss.; and five grandchildren: James Wilson Burns, Robert Lee Burns, Savannah Kate Mack, Brice Adam Flores, and Sophie Boatner. He is preceded in death by his father and several sisters and brothers.
