Mrs. Rosalie Taylor Eaves, 95, passed away Sunday, May 6, 2012 at Noxubee County Nursing Home. Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, May 10 at Soule Harbor Pentecostal Church in Shuqualak. Interment will follow at Pinetucky Cemetery. A time of visitation for friends and family will be held from 10:00 until 11:00 A.M. Thursday at the church. Memorials may be made to Central Academy P.O. Box 231 Macon, MS 39341. Cockrell Funeral Home of Macon is entrusted with the arrangements.

Rosalie Thomas Taylor Eaves was born on November 29, 1916 in Noxapater, MS to the late Edward Hunter and Launa Johnson Thomas. She attended school at the Union Ridge School. She worked at Macon Garment plant for over 27 years and also at Scooba Manufacturing in Shuqualak for three years. She later began caretaking for the elderly and continued to do so until her retirement. She was a member of Pinetucky Baptist Church. She enjoyed flower gardening and reading.

Mrs. Eaves is survived by her daughter: Opal Gill of Shuqualak, MS; three sons: Otis Taylor (Jean) of Columbus, MS; Olin Taylor (Annette) of Preston, MS and Ralph Taylor (Betty Jean) of Shuqualak. She is also survived 9 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren and by one brother: Boyd Thomas (Virgie) of Preston, MS. She was predeceased by two husbands: Olin Baker Taylor and Lloyd Eaves; one son: Joe Taylor; 1 great-granddaughter: Stephanie Smith; two sisters and one brother.
