Roy W. Miller, age 76 years 2 months and 5 days, died at this residence on Friday April 13, 2012. His funeral service will be held Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Magnolia Mennonite Church. Interment will follow in Magnolia Mennonite Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church on Tuesday evening from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Memorials may be made Magnolia Christian School c/o Lanell Bontrager, 1452 Douglas Rd., Macon, Ms 39341.

Mr. Miller was born in Iowa City, Iowa on Feb. 8, 1936 to the late Joni and Mattie Bontrager Miller. He was married to Tillie Lee on July 2, 1961. He became afflicted with polio in 1952 which left him affected for life. He lived life to the fullest while accepting his affliction, looking forward to the time he could be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He was a member of Magnolia Mennonite Church near Macon, MS. He was preceded in death by his parents, and by a niece: Regina Schlabaugh.

He is survived by his wife Tillie, of Macon; 2 sons: Orvin Jay Miller of Lafayette, GA., Olin Lee Miller of Macon, Ms; 1 daughter: Oneida Joy Miller of Macon, MS and by 7 grandchildren. He is also survived by 2 brothers: Rollin Miller of Macon, Ms and Roman Miller of Harrisonburg, GA and by 1 sister: Ruby Hochstetler of Tallahassee, FL. as well as by 7 nephews and 4 nieces.
