Melody Ann Featherston Marchbanks

Mrs. Melody Ann Featherston Marchbanks, 42, passed away at Indianapolis Regional Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana on Monday, December 19, 2011. Mrs. Marchbanks, the daughter of Shirley A. and the late W.C. “Buddy” Featherston of Brooksville, MS. was born on June 18, 1968. She graduated from Central Academy in Macon, MS and also from the Mississippi University for Women. She received her Master’s Degree in Accounting from Indiana Wesleyan University. She had lived in the Columbus, Indiana area since 1996 and was currently employed as the Cost Accountant for St. Francis Catholic Hospital in Indianapolis. She enjoyed camping, motorcycling, and spending time with her family.
In addition to her mother, Mrs. Marchbanks is survived her husband Donald; three stepsons: Nathan, Anthony, and Jonathan Marchbanks, all of Columbus, Indiana; and by one grand-daughter: Briseis Alia Marchbanks. She is also survived by her sister: Sue Ann Haggard (Bro. Larry) of Pittsboro, MS and one nephew. She was preceded in death by her father.
A memorial service for Mrs. Marchbanks will be held on Friday, December 23, 2011 at Brooksville Baptist Church in Brooksville, MS. at 2:00 P.M. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date.
