James “Jim” Cade, 61, died Sunday, September 25, 2011 in Brooksville, MS. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 28, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Mashulaville Baptist Church near Macon, MS. Visitation will held at the church one hour prior to the service. In lieu of Flowers, memorials may be to Batson Children’s Hospital, The Division of Public Affairs, 2500 N State St, Jackson, MS 39216 or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942. Jim was born in Mashulaville, MS, but grew up in West Point, MS. He worked for the Mississippi Forestry Commission for the past 27 years. He enjoyed metal detecting, fishing and turkey hunting.
His survivors include his wife, Tammy H. Cade of Macon, MS; a daughter, Kelsey Cade Palmer of Brandon, MS; a son, Josh Cade of Las Vegas, NV.; 3 grandchildren; a sister, Mary Cade Tait of Collierville, TN.; 4 brothers, Bill Cade of Tupelo, MS, Eddie Cade of Oxford, MS, Bobby Cade of Columbus, MS, John Cade of Brooksville, MS and a host of nieces and nephews.
