Scott Moore, 42, of Macon, died Monday June 6, 2011 at Baptist Memorial Hospital Golden Triangle in Columbus, Ms. Funeral services will be held Thursday June 9 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Calvary Baptist Church in Macon, MS. Interment will be in Moore Cemetery near Macon, MS. Visitation will be held Wed. Scott was a native and lifetime resident of Noxubee County. He was born on May 31, 1969 to Bede Hines and Polly Haggard Moore both of whom preceded him in death. He was a graduate of Central Academy and attended East Miss Community College. He worked at Babcock and Wilcox Boiler Makers in West Point as a welder for more than ten years. He later owned his own trucking business and also had worked at Penick Forest Products. He was a member of First Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing, NASCAR, and camping.
Survivors include his wife: Kim Moore of Macon, MS; 2 daughters Brittany Ross and Kaitlin Moore both of Corinth, MS; son Hunter Moore of Corinth, MS; stepfather: Charles Wilson of Macon, MS and 1 grandchild.
