Martha Janie Hull

Mrs, Martha Jane "janie" Hull passed away Monday, Feb 1 2011 at Traceway Manor in Tupelo, MS. She was born in Crawford, Ms on April 26 1924 to the later Joe and Aria (Ewing) Smith. She was a lifelong Baptist and had most recently attended Calvary Baptist Church in Tupelo, MS. She also enjoyed watching T.V. ministries later in life. In order to make ends meet, she and her first husband, Troy EAves, traveled extensively working on industrial jobs. She was a "jack of all trades" who later helped her second husband, Calvin Hull, operate their trucking business.

Mrs. Janie's funeral services will be held Thursday, February 3 2011 at Cockrell Funeral Home in Macon, MS. at 2 p.m. with Bro Danny Avery officiating. Interment will follow at Brooksville Cemetery near her first husband. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. on Thursday. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Jean Eaves Parker (REx) of Tupelo, MS; Mrs. Sandy Hull Davidson (Cecil) of Quitman, MS ; and Mrs. Becky Hull (Craig) of Caledonia, MS. She is also survived by one son: Larry N. Eaves (Donna) of Carrollton, GA and two brothers, Joe Smith of Cleveland, TX and Jack Smith (Lottie) of New Hope, MS. She leaves behind 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
