Jack Daniels

Jack Daniels, 84, of Brooksville, MS passed away Sunday, January 23, 2011 at his residence. His funeral service will be held at graveside in Brooksville Cemetery on Wednesday, January 26 at 3:00 P.M. with Bro. Danny Avery officiating. There will be no public visitation. Cockrell Funeral Home of Macon, MS is entrusted with arrangements.
Mr. Daniels was born on September 19, 1926 in Brooksville to the late Thomas Talmadge and Maud Freeland Daniels. He graduated from Brooksville High School and was a lifelong resident of Brooksville. He began working for his father at the family’s store, T.T. Daniels Dry Goods, and later was the proprietor of the store. He was a member of the Brooksville United Methodist Church. He loved music and enjoyed playing his guitar and his harmonica.
He was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by one sister: Mrs. Dorothy Morrison of Madison, Ms. as well as by three nephews: Francis, Kenneth, and Thomas Morrison.
