Eula May Harmon Little

Mrs. Eula Mae Harmon Little, 93, of Macon, MS passed away January 7, 2011 at Elderly Care Home in Macon, MS. Her funeral service will be held January 11, 2011 from Cockrell Funeral Home Chapel in Macon at 2:00 P.M. Interment will follow at Oddfellows Cemetery in Macon. A visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service. Memorials may be made to Cooksville United Methodist Church % Mrs. Peggy Simmons, 325 Paulette Road, Macon, MS 39341.
Mrs. Little was born in Sand Mountain, Alabama on January 1, 1918. She was a graduate of Hamilton (Alabama) High School. She moved with her family to the Prairie Point community in Noxubee County where she met and married Wade Little, Sr. She and her husband moved to the Cooksville community in Noxubee County where they lived for many years. She was a longtime member of Cooksville United Methodist Church. She worked until retirement at Huyck Felt Co. in Aliceville AL. She enjoyed working in her yard, gardening, and especially enjoyed flower gardening. She was preceded in death by her husband and one son, Wade Little, Jr.
She is survived by 2 sons: Gaylan (Dorothy) Little of Macon, MS and Bobby (Laverne) Little of Jay, FLA as well as by 12 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. She is also survived by one sister: Mrs. Willie (John) Butler of Happy, TX.
